The people of Lyons, Co were happy for us to be there at Rockygrass

2 Sep 01        3 hours

What shall I do first?? I connected my jumper cables and tried to see if the engine would turn… No go!

The starter wouldn’t do anything. After pulling it I did get it to spin up once… probably bad connection

inside. I also noticed that the master cylinder was bone dry. I took the generator, starter, master cylinder

and carburetor home to rebuild.

4 Sep                                $60           Ordered carburetor rebuild kit form Old IHC parts warehouse.

6 Sep to 16 Sep

Went to Winfield………. There wont be any work on the truck for a while.

17 Sep

I found out the carburetor that was on the truck was not the original carburetor, and I can’t find a kit for

this one so I will try to find an original carburetor. One place wanted $ 500 for a carburetor.. Wow!

21 Sep                             $198

I purchased some missing chrome pieces and a carburetor form a guy in Canada. 8 grill bars, inside

door handle, KB6 emblem, 2 chrome hood bottom pieces and carburetor 617S. Steve Robinson,

Lennox Ville, Quebec, (819) 567-7950.
